Hi. My name is Graham. 

I recently joined HubPages and completed my first 30/30 Hub Challenge. I thought that HubPages could be a great place to share my knowledge, skills, talents and experiences. I'm a quintessential "A" personality.

Ever since I could recall, I've been on a personal crusade to experience life to its' fullest. I have an insatiable apetite to learn and explore. I've tried to design my life in accordance to my dreams and goals. I define my life by the impact my sharing of this knowldge brings to others.

Oh sure, life has a way of taking you on side trips that we never planned on, but there is always something to learn and, hopefully, gain from that experience. I'm a true believer in remaining positive. When I began college, my intention was to study the psychology of women and naturopathy in order to open a women's center. Upon graduating, I found it difficult to get a position in my chosen field and found myself in desperate need of a job to pay my rent. That's when my professional journey got interesting!

I applied for a cooking position and had what I like to call, "a good with people interview". I had nothing to offer the chef except a willingness to learn and work hard. He accepted my offer and eventually, I was able to offer the next restauranteur who recruited me a portfolio of experience. Chefing, then lead to a catering business and then to food styling, which then lead into magazine styling. I would submerge myself into each craft learning as much as possible and working with very talented people along the way.

What to me seemed a logial transition, was then a career in product design. With that came the opportunity to design home decor products and create packaging. Where once I helped Pottery Barn develop a catalog, I was now designing items that would be sold to them.

My journey of exploration continues. There remains much for me to learn and try and to pass on to others so that, they too, can enjoy it.
